Hey everyone!
So the past four and a half days at the Ohio Nithyananda Vedic Temple we had a really amazing program called NSP, or life bliss program level two. The interesting thing about this program was that we did by India standards, AKA all night long. We went owl the past four days the temple volunteers and participants. Even the gods went nocturnal. The program sessions where at night, we had two meals a day at dusk and daybreak and lots of snacks in between. During that four day period my parents where extremely busy, my younger sister went to stay with a friend for the duration. I was volunteering a little, but I did bring a large bag of things to do. Some books, a journal, and my latest knitting project! Anyhow, the first night was sort of confusion, I didn't have anything to do, the main volunteers where busy busy busy. And that includes my mom, now any other thing, that week of NSP was the same week I had exams. So I have hanging out in the kitchen with two other volunteers who here I will call Sindu, and Amalee. Sindu, is about the same age as my mom, and is like a second mom to me, she acts like it too! Well she kept trying to make my go to bed, but I didn't really want to, I finally did and....
OK getting off topic, so living with god, what do I mean about this. Think about if you where sitting next to whatever you think of as god. How would it feel on a positive scale, words that come to mind are; invigorating, happy, blessed... I felt all of those things. For five days and four nights I ate, slept, and lived in the temple, and it was the most amazing experience, just like living with god. I mostly hung out in the kitchen, but the main sanctum sancturum is one room over and so you all ways see the main god. That's about all for now, many more NSP blog entries coming soon!
P.S. I wanted to include a picture, but for some reason unknown to me, it's not working, but I will get some for the next few entries!
